
Susanne holds a Master's Degree in Social Science, Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in General Nursing from Blekinge University in Karlskrona, Sweden as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Intermediate Nursing from the University of Orebro, Sweden.
Susanne uses an eclectic approach in her counselling that encompasses Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and the principles of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). The focus of her counselling sessions is to assist adults and children/adolescents by empowering them with the ability to face and overcome their existing challenges.
Susanne is from Sweden and has lived and worked internationally since 1989. She is a well-rounded, cross-cultural experienced counsellor as she has resided in Sweden, India, Norway, the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Australia and most recently, Singapore.
Susanne also has substantial experience in nursing:
- School Nurse (part-time) at the Singapore American School.
- Intensive Care Units and Neonatal Intensive Care Units at large hospitals in Scandinavia.
Susanne feels privileged to have the pleasure of working with the international expatriate community as well as the local population. She is fluent in English, Swedish and Norwegian and can conduct therapy in any of those languages.
