Any information gathered during counselling shall remain private and confidential between the client and Susanne DiBiagio Counselling.  However, confidentiality will not be maintained under the following circumstances due to legal requirements or other overriding considerations:   

• Indications of abuse
• Court subpoena
• Risk of serious harm to oneself or others
• Helpful information in case of medical emergency

 
Confidentiality will be maintained during times of necessary consultation and professional supervision.
